I am providing a fair and honest review.
The 40" electric smoker by Masterbuilt is a beast. With four huge smoke racks you can easy cook for a company bbq with this machine. It comes with a "pager" sized remote control that allows you to monitor the units progress from the comfort of your living room. With it you can check the time remain and temperature and adjust both as well.
The unit seals tightly to maximize the smoke ( it takes only 1/10th of the chips that the traditional propane unit takes). This unit is a "low and slow" unit. Its temperature is ideal for ribs, briskets, shoulders and sausages.
The entire inside of this smoker comes out, meaning even the brackets mounted to the wall to slide the trays into simply unclip from the wall and come out easily. This allows thorough cleaning of the inside in minutes with no need to try and clean nooks and crannies because there are none. I just put the parts into the dishwasher and select POTS AND PANS.....done!
With the built in temperature probe this machine cooks by itself. REVIEWS..........
